Thanks for downloading the Ambient Soundpack Version 2 for Sub Command. This soundpack is designed to add a new accent of realism for the american subs replacing the "music" files for a more realistic "background noise" that loops randomly as long as youre playing.

Version 2 of this soundpack includes several new sounds that can work together with the first version of the Ambient Soundpack for a longer sound loop (6 wav files = 20 mins 12 secs) or you can replace any or all of the first ones (1, 2, 3.wav) with the new ones (1b, 2b, 3b.wav), its up to you, all the files have exactly the same volume and quality.

Follow this simple procedure to install:

1. Locate your "Electronic Arts\Sub Command\Audio\Music\212" folder, and see the .wav files you have there.

2. If you have the USMUSIC files create a new folder, call it "Old files" or any name you like and follow step 3, if you dont have these files, go to step 4.

3. Place the wav files (USMUSIC1.wav, USMUSIC2.wav, USMUSIC3.wav, USMUSIC4.wav and USMUSIC5.wav) in the "old files" folder

4. Extract the contents of this zip IN THE 212 FOLDER (WONT WORK IN ANY OTHER FOLDER)

5. Double click on "start.bat"

6. Once the file conversion finishes you will see 3 new files in your 212 folder: 1b.wav, 2b.wav and 3b.wav.

7. You can start Sub Command, you can also set the "background noise" volume level in the "Music" section in the Options

Sub Command will play these files in no specific order. Each file is 3 minutes 22 seconds long.

Good Hunting!
